Filippo Domenico I (1678-1753) was the first Chief Magistrate of Valle Sesia, when it passed under the rule of the House of Savoy. Later, he served as Ruler of the Royal Chancellor\u2019s Office.<br \/>\nVincenzo Sebastiano (1721-1784), appointed  Director of the Bridge and Road Company, had been in charge of main civil construction works such as the diversion of the Po river, to save Carmagnola city from flooding. He had also managed tax equalization and set up the land registry.<br \/>\nCarlo I (1784-1855) assumed charge as Ambassador to Austria and France and then as Financial and Interior Minister of the kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia. In Paris, he was awarded by king Vittorio Emanuele II of the collar badge of the Order of the Annunziata and was Ambassador in Paris.<br \/>\nEmanuele (1887-1960), father of the current owner, spent a career as a military becoming Army Lieutenant general and awarding the Gold Medal of Military Valour (Purple Heart). In addition, he was a successful sportsman riding and winning team bronze medal at the Olympics in Paris 1924.<br \/>\nHis wife, mother of the current owner, Maria Incisa della Rocchetta (1901-1996) was daughter of Marquis Enrico della Rocchetta and Eleonora dei Principi Chigi.
